EnvidataID, Jakarta – On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, a team of experts from PT Envidata Inovasi Indonesia (EnvidataID) held a meeting with Ricky Cahya Andrian as Vice President of Decarbonization Business Development / Hydrogen Enthusiast PT PLN (Persero) in Jakarta. This time, EnvidataID represented Rudatin Windraswara as Executive Director and was accompanied by Arief Marsudi Harjo as Operational Director of PT Envidata Inovasi Indonesia. In a meeting with PT PLN (Persero), the EnvidataID team of experts conducted systematic discussions, coordination and alignment regarding the preparation of the Hydrogen Refueling Station (HRS) White Paper. PT PLN (Persero) through its subholding PLN Indonesia Power has succeeded in building and operating the first hydrogen refueling station in Indonesia located in the Senayan Diesel Power Plant (PLTD) area, Jakarta on February 21, 2024. This is an aggressive step by PLN in supporting the Indonesian government’s commitment to achieve Net Zero Emission (NZE) by 2060.

In the meeting, Ricky Cahya Andrian, one of ITB’s best alumni, gave direction to the EnvidataID expert team to be more intensive in analyzing HRS prospects. This opportunity was utilized by PT Envidata Inovasi Indonesia to demonstrate competence and expertise in completing the task of compiling the HRS White Paper. The results of the discussion were then stated in minutes which will be an important reference for the company to evaluate and validate the data that has been collected in order to compile a more comprehensive HRS White Paper.

PT PLN (Persero), as the largest state-owned electricity company in Indonesia, has a very important role in the energy transition towards cleaner and more sustainable energy sources. One of PLN’s main focuses at the moment is the development of hydrogen energy.
