Focusing on SPBH K3LL Guidelines, Envidata Joins Public Consultation with Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources
EnvidataID, Bogor – On September 10, 2024, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (Kementerian ESDM) held a public consultation in order to finalize the draft of the Technical Guidelines, Safety, Health, Occupational Safety, and Environmental Protection at Hydrogen Fuel Filling Stations (SPBH) or can be called the SPBH K3LL Technical Guide. On that occasion, the Ministry of ESDM through the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation also invited various stakeholders who played a role in the preparation of the SPBH K3LL technical guidelines, including representatives from the Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Ministry of PUPR, Technical Committee 27-11 Hydrogen Technology and business actors in the energy sector such as the President Director of PT Pertamina Gas Negara, PT Pertamina Power Indonesia, PLN Indonesia Power. Even several representatives of business actors from the manufacturing sector such as the President President of PT Shell Indonesia, Hyundai Motor, Toyota Motor and others.
In line with the Net Zero Emission (NZE) vision and the National Hydrogen and Ammonia Roadmap that has been launched by the Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) sector, the development of Hydrogen Fuel Filling Stations (SPBH) is a journey in the transportation revolution in Indonesia. This strategic plan marks a new chapter in the energy transition, where hydrogen-based vehicles will play a central role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. With more SPBHs being built, it is hoped that it can encourage mass adoption of hydrogen-powered vehicles, while strengthening clean and sustainable energy infrastructure in the country. This is in line with the government’s efforts to achieve decarbonization targets and realize a greener future.
It is hoped that the results of the consultation on the Technical Guidelines, Safety, Health, Occupational Safety, and Environmental Protection at Hydrogen Fuel Filling Stations (SPBH) are expected to be the spearhead in the process of pioneering the Hydrogen ecosystem in Indonesia. PT Envidata Inovasi Indonesia also supports the realization of hydrogenization in Indonesia, this is because it is in line with the company’s vision and mission in reducing the effects of greenhouse gases and carbon emissions in Indonesia.
